Key Responsibilities

Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Defence Studies, Economics, or related field.

    5+ years of research/analysis experience in defence procurement or government contracting.

    Familiarity with MoD procurement portals and e-tendering systems.

    Ability to synthesise complex information into concise reports.

    Excellent written and analytical skills.

Preferred

    Background with MoD research wings, DRDO, or defence think tanks.

    Experience providing intelligence support for bid/proposal teams.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Proposal/Bid Manager with strong exposure to the Indian defence procurement ecosystem. The role requires not only expertise in bid lifecycle management but also an ability to leverage networks within the Ministry of Defence and associated procurement agencies to support successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

    Manage the full proposal lifecycle for defence tenders and RFPs.

    Interpret complex MoD/DPSU tender documents and translate them into winning strategies.

    Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with defence procurement standards.

    Coordinate with technical teams on offset, compliance, and technical specifications.

    Maintain strong relationships with defence procurement officials and ecosystem stakeholders.

Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/Business/Defence Studies or related field).

    5+ years of experience in proposal/bid management within the defence sector.

    Demonstrated familiarity with MoD procurement procedures, Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP), and DPSU tendering.

    Strong network within Indian defence procurement agencies.

    Excellent project management, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred

    Prior service in armed forces procurement divisions or DPSUs.

    APMP certification or equivalent.

As an RFP/Strategy Consultant, you will provide critical strategic inputs for defence and government procurement opportunities. You will guide clients through complex RFPs, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning, while leveraging industry knowledge and networks.

Key Responsibilities

    Analyse defence and government RFPs, identifying compliance and risk areas.

    Design tailored win strategies for MoD, DRDO, DPSU, and PSU opportunities.

    Guide proposal teams on technical positioning, offset requirements, and price-to-win strategies.

    Conduct competitive landscape analysis and benchmark against industry leaders.

    Leverage existing defence procurement networks to gain market intelligence.

Requirements

    Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, or Defence-related field.

    7+ years of experience in defence/government contracting, consulting, or strategy.

    Strong understanding of Indian defence procurement policies and vendor registration processes.

    Existing connections with defence procurement stakeholders is a strong advantage.

    Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred

    Former procurement officer or consultant in MoD/DPSUs.

    Experience with defence offset management.
